LISA Gets Emotional After Winning Best Pop at MTV VMAs 2026 | Just Jared

LISA is the first winner of the night at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday (September 27) at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.
The 29-year-old K-Pop star picked up the award for Best Pop for her song “Dream” featuring Kentaro Sakaguchi.
LISA was overtaken with emotion when her name was called by presenter Teyana Taylor.
The emotions continued when she took the stage to accept the Moonman trophy.
“Sawatdee kha, everyone! First of all, thank you MTV for this amazing award,” she started out, followed by thanking her collaborators on the track. “All those late night dreams brought me here today, so thank you for the inspiration.
She then thanked her fans, saying, “Thank you to my Lilies, I wouldn’t be here without you guys. Thank you so much for your love and support.”
The BLACKPINK singer is also nominated for three more awards tonight: Best Cinematography, Best Editing, and Best K-Pop, which are all for “Dream.”
