Hayden Panettiere's Mom & Boyfriend Not Invited to Celebration of Life Event, Dad Will Attend Alongside 'Hollywood Power Players' | Just Jared

Hayden Panettiere will be celebrated at a memorial service in Malibu this weekend, but two people who were important parts of her life will not be there.
TMZ is reporting that Hayden‘s mom Lesley Vogel and her on-again, off-again boyfriend Brian Hickerson are not invited to the event, which will take place on Saturday at a church overlooking the water.
It’s unclear who is organizing the event, but 150 people are expected to attend, according to the report. Guests were told that the service is “a memorial for Hayden.”
Hayden‘s dad Skip Panettiere will reportedly be in attendance at the event alongside “close friends and Hollywood power players.”
The location for the memorial was chosen because of Hayden‘s love of the ocean and whales.

Lesley Vogel revealed what led to her estrangement from Hayden Panettiere
Lesley Vogel was criticized for the statement that she gave after Hayden’s death, and then she spoke out in multiple interviews.
Towards the end of her life, Hayden revealed she was not speaking to her mother.
Lesley said that one year ago, she went to stay with Hayden to help her.
Lesley then brought up Hayden‘s on-again/off-again boyfriend, Brian Hickerson, who was there when she was pronounced deceased: “She knew that Brian was toxic. She knew she had to get him out of her life.”
After 6 weeks, Lesley says she left.
“When I got the phone call from her saying, I’m going to be with the person I love…. I just lost it. I lost it. I could not believe she had gone that far back, that he had been successful in reeling her back in with all of the things he had done to her,” Lesley continued.
She said, on the advice of her therapist, she told Hayden she would not be in her life if Brian was part of her life. This is what started their estrangement towards the end of Hayden‘s life.
“I did not…think that this was gonna happen to Hayden,” she shared.

Brian Hickerson just spoke out again
On Wednesday (September 16), Brian, 36, was approached by a photographer outside of a gas station in Greenville, South Carolina, as seen in footage obtained by E! News.
When asked how he’s holding up, Brian fired back, “How do you think I’m doing?”
The photographer then extended condolences, and Brian replied, “Appreciate it. That’s all I got for you, man.”
The tense interaction came just days after Brian was detained by police following in a reported assault at a bar. His brother Zach Hickerson, who was also present when Hayden died last month, was arrested following the incident.
