The Oscar-winning actress has spent decades as one of Hollywood’s most sought-after stars, so naturally, her dating résumé includes a few famous faces, fine men, and three trips down the aisle.

There have been actors, athletes, R&B singers, a model, and even a New Kid on the Block. Sis has RANGE!

And after a few heartbreaks and hard lessons along the way, Halle may have finally found her forever love in musician Van Hunt. The two have been going strong since 2020, and in February 2026, Halle confirmed that she officially said YES to his proposal.

Before we start planning wedding No. 4, let’s rewind the romantic rolodex and revisit some of the men linked to Halle over the years.

Danny Wood

Before Halle was Halle Berry, Oscar-winning actress and forever crush, she was reportedly linked to New Kids on the Block member Danny Wood around 1989.

The relationship came before Berry became a household name in Hollywood, and while New Kids on the Block were becoming one of the biggest boy bands in the world.

A New Kid and a future Hollywood legend? Very late ’80s. We see the vision.

Christopher Williams

Next up, another ’90s heartthrob.

Halle was linked to R&B singer Christopher Williams in the early ‘90s, back when he was making ladies swoon with “I’m Dreamin’.”

Their romance ultimately didn’t last, but both went on to become major names in their respective industries. Right person, wrong time, perhaps?

Wesley Snipes

Halle and Wesley Snipes were romantically linked around the time they worked together in Spike Lee’s Jungle Fever, but this chapter of her dating history is a complicated one.

Halle has previously spoken about an abusive former boyfriend striking her so severely that she lost much of the hearing in her left ear. While Christopher Williams later alleged that Snipes was the ex responsible, Halle herself has never publicly named the man.

So we’re leaving that allegation exactly where it belongs: attributed, not assumed.

Eddie Murphy

Now THIS would’ve been a very ’90s power pairing.

Halle and Eddie Murphy were rumored to have been romantically involved around the time of Boomerang. Neither has publicly confirmed a relationship, so this one remains firmly in rumored-romance territory.

Still, Marcus and Angela had chemistry on screen, and we can only imagine what those red carpets would’ve looked like.

David Justice

From Hollywood to home plate!

Halle reportedly spotted MLB star David Justice on TV and had a reporter pass along her number. Clearly, the play worked because the two married in 1993, making Justice Halle’s first husband.

They separated in 1996 and finalized their divorce in 1997. In more recent reflections on their marriage, Justice has said his expectations of having a more traditional wife didn’t align with Halle’s lifestyle and career.

Safe to say that lineup didn’t last.

Shemar Moore

Halle Berry AND Shemar Moore?! The face cards alone deserved their own joint bank account.

The two dated after Halle’s divorce from David Justice, and Shemar has spoken fondly about their relationship over the years, even admitting that he “fell hard” for the actress.

He has also said they connected over their similar backgrounds and experiences. Their relationship eventually ended, but thankfully, this appears to be one ex situation that didn’t end in a mess.

Then came husband No. 2.

Halle married R&B singer Eric Benét in 2001, but their marriage faced very public challenges, including allegations of infidelity. The couple separated in 2003 and finalized their divorce in 2005.

Michael Ealy

Now wait a minute because Halle and Michael Ealy together were FINE.

The actors reportedly dated after working together on Their Eyes Were Watching God. Their romance didn’t become a long-term relationship, but visually?

Gabriel Aubry

Next came Canadian model Gabriel Aubry, and Halle was apparently not playing about beautiful men.

The two met during a Versace photoshoot in 2005 and were together for nearly five years. They welcomed their daughter, Nahla, in 2008 before splitting in 2010.

Unfortunately, things became much less glamorous after the breakup as the former couple became embroiled in a contentious custody battle.

Apparently Halle loves a little on-set chemistry.

She met French actor Olivier Martinez while filming Dark Tide in 2010. The couple became engaged in 2012 and married in France in July 2013.

They welcomed their son, Maceo, later that year but announced their split in 2015. Their divorce was finalized in 2016.

Three marriages down, but Halle wasn’t giving up on love just yet.

Van Hunt

And then came Van Hunt. ❤️

Halle confirmed her relationship with the musician in September 2020 after the two connected during the pandemic, and she hasn’t been shy about how differently this love feels.

She’s called Van her “person,” and in 2025, he revealed that he’d proposed, although the pair weren’t racing to the altar.

Then, in February 2026, Halle made it official during an appearance on The Tonight Show: she said YES.
