Dakota Johnson and Anne Hathaway are getting ready for the release of their new film Verity and they just participated in a New York City press day!
The actresses were spotted at a hotel for their press events on Tuesday (September 15) in New York.
Dakota was dressed in a black dress while Anne, who is pregnant with her third child, was wearing a turquoise two-piece outfit.
What is Verity about?
The movie is based on the novel of the same name by Colleen Hoover.
This seductive, psychological thriller follows renowned author Verity Crawford (Hathaway) and Lowen Ashleigh (Johnson), a struggling writer who relocates to the remote Crawford estate to ghostwrite for Verity. After Lowen uncovers what appears to be Verity’s chilling autobiographical notes, she wrestles with the disturbing and twisted confessions about Verity’s husband Jeremy (Josh Hartnett), and finds it hard to separate fiction from reality, manipulation from attraction, and opportunity from obsession.
The movie will be released in theaters on October 2.
