Influencer writes to MP about Bonnie Blue's 'troubling' baby videos

‘This has disgusted and deeply concerned me’

After Bonnie Blue was reported to the NSPCC last week over the concerning content she has been posting with her newborn baby, an influencer has written a complaint letter to her local MP and is urging everyone else to do the same. 

According to The Sun, the Conservative Party wrote to the NSPCC “to raise serious safeguarding concerns” over one of her videos. In the clip, which was shared on TikTok, Bonnie is sitting on a bed holding her newborn baby while surrounded by men in balaclavas and making x-rated remarks. 

“Yes, I just had a baby, but that means the six-week rule does not apply to me because I had a C-section. Down there still looking perfect,” she said.

Now, influencer Maddie Dann, who is an A&E doctor and new mother herself, has written to her local MP to raise similar concerns. The influencer, who has more than 1.5 million followers, read out the letter on TikTok and urged everyone else to write to their local MP too.

“I’ve just written to my MP about Bonnie Blue, Tia Billinger, using the likeness of a newborn to promote explicit pornographic material because I think it should be illegal. I’d like you to write to your MP too. It’s very easy. Go online. I’m going to read you what I wrote, but don’t copy and paste and write the exact same thing, because if they get things that are just copied and pasted, then they don’t read them,” she said. 

Her letter begins: “Dear Jeff Smith, my name is Dr Madeline Dann. I’m an A&E Doctor, new mother and online content creator. I’m writing to you regarding my concerns surrounding the illegality of using the likeness of a newborn baby to promote explicit pornographic material. I’m hoping there is something that can be done to make this illegal, though I should hope it is already. I’ve been horrified by the online presence of Bonnie Blue, real name Tia Billinger.

“She’s gone viral numerous times for stunts surrounding pornographic material that she creates and advertises on Instagram and TikTok. Historically, she has always behaved in a deeply troubling and concerning way. The majority of her material is geared towards her behaving in a predatory manner towards young, barely legal, as she puts it, boys. Most recently, during her pregnancy, she created p*rn about her baby shower, centring a sexual stunt and pornographic material around the celebration of a baby’s life.

“Now she’s posting videos advertising her pornographic content, while holding the likeness of a newborn baby. The face is blurred, and it’s likely a doll, but my objection still stands, as for all intents and purposes she desires this to be seen as if it is a real live newborn baby.”

Describing the video that’s raised concerns, the influencer claimed that Bonnie is “speaking in a sexually charged manner and surrounded by balaclava-clad men” and alleged that she has deliberately dressed the baby in the same blue colour as the balaclavas that the men are wearing. The adult creator hasn’t confirmed whether it is her real baby or a doll in the videos, and its face is always blurred. 

“This is a deliberate move. This has disgusted and deeply concerned me. I feel it is verging on, if not satisfying, the description of child sexual assault material, as she fully intends the viewer to imagine or believe she is holding a real newborn baby,” she alleged. “I’m concerned for the safety of not only her child but also other children, as this material surely appeals to paedophiles.”

In response to the backlash, Bonnie told The Tab: “My baby will never be in 18+ content. Saying what I’m going to do whilst holding a baby, does not mean I’ll be holding a baby whilst doing it. If you say you’re going clubbing tonight whilst holding a baby, that does not mean you’ll be taking the baby clubbing.”

She also insisted to The Sun that her baby is “loved, protected and incredibly well looked after”. 

“Becoming a mum hasn’t changed the fact that I’m Bonnie Blue, but I know exactly where Bonnie ends and being a mum begins. If anyone has genuine safeguarding concerns, there are proper channels for raising them,” she said. “But wasting the time of already stretched and understaffed services to score political points, because you dislike what I do for a living, only draws vital resources away from children who may genuinely need their help.”
