Kim Zolciak's Son KJ Biermann, 15, Reportedly Had Sex with Underage Relative, Prosecutors Claim | Just Jared

Kim Zolciak‘s son Kroy “KJ” Biermann Jr. is appearing in court for the first time following his arrest last month.
If you didn’t see, KJ, 15, was arrested in late August and is being held without bond, followed by an indictment last week on seven felony charges, including aggravated child molestation, aggravated sodomy, aggravated sexual battery, three counts of sexual battery against a child under 16, and false imprisonment.
The arrest comes after a female classmate accused KJ of assaulting her inside of a gym changing area in April.
On Friday (September 11), KJ – who is the eldest son of the 48-year-old former Real Housewives of Atlanta star and former NFL player Kroy Biermann – appeared in Georgia’s Fulton County Superior Court for his bond hearing.
During his hearing, Deputy District Attorney Caitlin McGillicuddy claimed that investigators previously found videos on KJ‘s cell phone that allegedly depicted him having penetrative sex with a family member under the age of 12, according to Page Six.
McGillicuddy claimed that there were “multiple encounters” on video that were discovered on KJ‘s phone and that allegedly showed the teen using “predatory, derogatory” language toward the victim. It’s unclear how old KJ was in the alleged videos.

“This would now mark the second time he has been charged with an offense of a sexual nature of a very serious kind which involves female victims,” McGillicuddy noted, adding that KJ was previously charged with sexual battery of a victim under 16, which had not been publicly reported until now.
KJ has reportedly been under court supervision since October 2025, when the alleged incident with the family member occurred.
KJ‘s defense attorney, Jason Sheffield, declined to comment on the new allegations. However, he has consistently denied the allegations made against KJ in the separate sexual battery and sodomy case.
Judge Melynee Leftridge said during the hearing that she will decide by Monday, September 14, whether KJ will be released on bond. He’s currently being jailed at Atlanta’s Metro Regional Youth Detention Center.
KJ‘s attorney asked that the teen be released on $65,000 and insisted that Kim would monitor him, as she is at home and not employed at the moment. McGillicuddy argued that if KJ were to be released, his bond be set at $190,000.
A statement from KJ‘s alleged victim was then read aloud in court, in which she begged for the judge to “consider [her] safety” before deciding whether to release KJ on bond. The victim said she has been “living in fear” due to alleged threats that KJ would come after her if he were to be released.
“No matter who these threats came from directly, I cannot just ignore them or assume that nothing will happen,” she wrote in her statement. “I am not only scared for myself anymore; I am scared for my family, too. Members of my family have received emails and phone calls because of this situation.”
She added, “The thought of him being released scares me more than I can put into words.”
According to Page Six, KJ remained emotionless throughout the hearing. Kim was in attendance in the courtroom alongside daughter Brielle. Kroy, 40, was also at the hearing and sat separately from his estranged wife.
Along with KJ, Kim and Kroy are also parents to son Kash, 14, and 12-year-old twins Kaia and Kane. After marrying Kim in 2011, Kroy legally adopted her two older daughters, Brielle, 29, and Ariana, 24. The former couple married in 2011 and split in 2023.
If you didn’t see, Kim recently spoke out following her son’s arrest.
