Brooks Nader is responding to all of the headlines about her recent family vacation.
Last month, the 29-year-old reality star and Baywatch actress was vacationed on a luxury yacht off the coast of Sardinia, Italy. Brooks was seen topless while standing next to her dad Breaux Nader as she also joined on the boat by mom Holland and sister Sarah Jane, 24. Brooks later jumped into the water while wearing just bottoms.
While at the Tommy Hilfiger Fashion Show on Thursday (September 10) in New York City, Brooks addressed the backlash for going topless in front of her dad.
“I had the time of my freaking life,” Brooks raved to Entertainment Tonight. “I don’t care if I’m not from Europe. I’m from Louisiana. I grew up in an all-girl household. We’re always naked together as sisters.”
She added, “My dad’s half blind, so he didn’t even notice. He was like, ‘I don’t care.’”
“He has selective hearing and selective seeing,” Brooks continued. “I was just having the time of my life and really not thinking that anyone was documenting some of it, but we love it. It’s great.”
After facing backlash for going topless for her swim in front of her dad, she later jumped in the water in a Gucci dress and heels. She shared photos of her “fully clothed” going for the swim and teasingly wrote, “Are we happy now?”
In a recent interview, Brooks revealed the cosmetic procedure she’ll “forever regret” having done.
