Charlie Hunnam Opens Up About Life at Home With Longtime Girlfriend Morgana McNelis in Rare Comments | Just Jared

Charlie Hunnam is sharing rare comments about life with his girlfriend, Morgana McNelis.

The 46-year-old actor and the artist have been dating for over 20 years, and while promoting his new limited series, Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story, he opened up about watching the show with his partner.

While speaking with E! News, Charlie shared that the longtime couple will be watching the series together, just like they did with the 2025 installment of the anthology series, Monster: The Ed Gein Story.

“We had such a nice time last year,” he told the publication in an interview. “We sat down and watched the whole thing in a day and binged it together.” 

“It was such a fun day,” he added, noting that “nice and fun” might not be the best words to use. “It was a day to remember, so we’re gonna do that again.”

He also opened up about the shift in the role for the new series versus the last one.

“There was a lot less responsibility, obviously,” Charlie said. “You feel the weight of it, having to carry one of these shows. They swing for the fences with the drama and the emotion. And so it takes a lot. So, I was very happy to be here in support of Ella [Beatty] this time.”

“It didn’t feel like I needed the same space to exorcize this from my being in the way that it felt like I needed some time to let go of Ed,” he added.

Earlier this year, Charlie sparked marriage rumors when he referred to Morgana as his wife at an awards show!
