Aaron Rodgers Claims Ex Shailene Woodley Asked to Sleep with Someone Else After He Proposed to Her

Aaron Rodgers is making some allegations against ex-fiancée Shailene Woodley.

If you didn’t know, the 42-year-old Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback and the 34-year-old Emmy-winning actress quietly began in 2020 and got engaged in December of that year. They went public with their relationship in 2021 and split for good in 2022.

While appearing on the Not Just Football podcast on Thursday (September 10), Aaron looked back at what led to the end of his and Shailene‘s relationship, claiming that she asked to sleep someone else shortly after they got engaged.

“I date Shailene, I propose and she says yes,” Aaron recalled. “She maybe felt like she was forced to make a decision, she could have said no. But not a couple of days after that, she tells me before we get married like, ‘I got to go f–k this guy.’ ”

“‘Cause her story is, I ruined her life and gave her crazy depression because I left her, but in actuality she told me that and took off the ring by March,” he continued. “I proposed in December, took off the ring by March, and we had a couple of times when we tried to get reunited and nothing ever happened, and there wasn’t even a relationship in ’22 to break off. She literally told me I don’t want to be with you.”

This is the first time Aaron has publicly addressed his relationship with Shailene, and in his new interview, he explained why he felt it was time to share his side of the story.

“There’s just a lot of narratives out there that are just not true and they portray things a certain way because they can get away with it,” Aaron said. “No one knows what they’re doing.”

He added about the women he once dated, “The height of their fame was when they were with me.”

Shailene hasn’t shared much about her relationship with Aaron, but in an interview from 2024, she said their time together, “was not right. But it was beautiful.” Here’s what else she had to say.

Also in his new interview, Aaron shared some scathing comments about another famous ex-girlfriend.
