P-Valley is officially coming to an end.

When Does P-Valley Season 3 Premiere & What Will Happen?

The hit Starz drama will conclude with its upcoming third season, which is set to premiere on Friday, December 4.

The news comes more than four years after the show’s second season wrapped back in August 2022.

Season 3 will consist of nine episodes and will bring viewers back to The Pynk as a new casino shakes things up in Chucalissa, Mississippi.

Why Is P-Valley Ending After Season 3?

Creator and showrunner Katori Hall, who adapted the series from her play Pussy Valley, revealed that ending the show with Season 3 was her decision.

“The rarest honor a showrunner can have in today’s industry is to end a series on her own terms. This is why I chose to say goodbye with grace, grit and glitter, lowering the curtain on P-Valley at Season 3 with a farewell y’all truly deserve,” she said in a statement, via THR.

She also expressed her gratitude to Starz for giving the series a home and providing “a platform to so much amazing Black, queer, and femme talent.”

Who Will Appear in Season 3 of P-Valley?

Season 3 will feature the returns of Nicco Annan, Brandee Evans, Shannon Thornton, J. Alphonse Nicholson, Harriett D. Foy, Dan J. Johnson, Gail Bean, Psalms Salazar, Morocco Omari, Dominic DeVore, Jordan M. Cox, Thomas Q. Jones, Bertram Williams Jr., Mea Wilkerson and Loretta Devine.

Production on the third season was delayed amid the Hollywood strikes in 2023 before filming eventually got underway in 2024.

Along with the final season announcement, Starz debuted the first teaser giving fans a look at what’s ahead for The Pynk.

P-Valley originally premiered in July 2020. Across its first two seasons, the series earned widespread critical acclaim, including a 100% score for Season 1 on Rotten Tomatoes.

Season 3 premieres December 4 on Starz.
