Connor Storrie Finally Confirmed for 'The Bell Jar' Movie, Full Cast Revealed as Production Wraps | Just Jared

Connor Storrie is finally confirmed to star in the upcoming movie The Bell Jar, based on the classic novel by Sylvia Plath.

Connor‘s casting was rumored back in July 2026 when a Canadian museum posted that he was on site for filming of the movie, which will star Billie Eilish in the lead role for her feature film acting debut.

Focus Features did not confirm the casting until today (September 8), in an announcement about the movie wrapping production.

Full cast of The Bell Jar confirmed

Following a wrap on production, Sarah Polley‘s adaptation of The Bell Jar has confirmed the full cast. The Oscar winner is directing the film from her own adapted screenplay, marking her first movie as a director since winning the Academy Award for writing Women Talking.

Billie will be playing Esther Greenwood with Connor playing the role of Marco.

Carey Mulligan, Danielle Deadwayler, and Lili Taylor confirmed

Carey Mulligan will play Mrs. Greenwood.

Danielle Deadwyler is set to play Dr. Nolan

Lili Taylor has been cast as Jay Cee.

Ike Barinholtz, Ella Beatty, and Maggie Kuntz confirmed

Ike Barinholtz will play Lenny.

Ella Beatty is joining the cast as Joan.

Maggie Kuntz has landed the role of Doreen.

Dylan Hawco will play Buddy Willard.
