Elizabeth Chambers Vows to Never Get Married Again After Armie Hammer Divorce

Elizabeth Chambers says she will “absolutely not” be getting married again following her divorce from Armie Hammer.

If you didn’t know, the 44-year-old TV personality married the 40-year-old The Social Network actor in 2010 before she filed for divorce 10 years later, citing “irreconcilable differences.” The pair – who settled their divorce about three years later – share daughter Harper, 12, and son Ford, 9.

In a new interview with Us Weekly, Elizabeth reflected on her tumultuous split from Armie as she vowed to never marry again.

“I spent years getting unmarried,” she said. “Why would I [get married] again?”

Elizabeth went on to say that both she and Armie “went in full on” when it comes to their marriage and divorce was “the last thing” either of them wanted.

“And I have friends that are like, ‘Oh, I’m not even sad because I never really liked him in the first place,’” she noted. “That was not me.”

She continued, “I thought I found my person for life, and I really believed in monogamy, and I really believed in the most important thing is family, and it is.”

“I just don’t know that I would ever trust anyone to protect my heart like that again,” Elizabeth added.

A year after their split, Armie was accused of sexual abuse, and cannibalism, by multiple women, which he has denied. One woman came forward and claimed that the Call Me By Your Name actor violently raped her, which led to the Los Angeles Police Department launching an investigation. Ultimately, the Los Angeles Count District Attorney’s Office declined to prosecute Armie after finding “insufficient evidence” to charge him with a crime.

In her new interview, Elizabeth shared an update on how her kids are doing after the scandal

“I think, at the end of the day, all they need to know is that they have two parents that love them, right?” she said. “Everything else is just noise. Things that we read in headlines or things that people think are salacious news — it doesn’t really matter when it comes to kids.”

Back in 2024, Armie shared an update on his co-parenting relationship with Elizabeth.
