Ariana Madix Teases ‘Unexpected Hookups’ & Unseen Footage on ‘Love Island USA’ Season 8 Reunion

Ariana Madix is dishing on what fans can expect from the upcoming Love Island USA season eight reunion.

The 41-year-old host of the Peacock dating competition is set to host the reunion, which has already filmed, with Andy Cohen, and it will premiere later this month.

During an appearance on TODAY on Tuesday (August 18), Ariana teased what’s to come when the reunion airs.

“You’ll find out all of that,” she said, referring to who is still together or who broke up. “There’s breakups, there’s some unexpected hookups, like I was saying earlier.”

When asked if anything really was unexpected at this point, Ariana responded, “Actually, yeah.”

“And there’s a lot of unseen footage, which I think clears up a lot of questions that the audience had and some conflicts between the islanders,” she continued. “I love unseen moments because they’re unseen to me as well, so that’s really fun. And there’s some tears, some laughter. I mean, it’s really the perfect conclusion to the season, I think.”

Ariana also shared what can be difficult about hosting the reunions.

“A lot of these reunions now, with the islanders, we have so many islanders. I think 30-plus returning islanders to this reunion, so, it’s a lot to keep track of,” she said. “You’re looking around the room for who you’re addressing, and you have to remember where they’re placed.

If you missed it, Ariana also recently addressed rumors that she wouldn’t be returning as host of Love Island USA.

This week, it was announced that Ariana is returning to Broadway, taking over a role that a former Love Island USA host also portrayed late last year!
