Eric Dane’s Daughter Georgia Lands First Acting Role in Lifetime Movie Alongside Mom Rebecca Gayheart

Eric Dane and Rebecca Gayheart‘s youngest daughter is following in their footsteps!

On Tuesday (August 18), TV Insider announced that the late actor’s 14-year-old daughter Georgia Dane will be making her acting debut in a new Lifetime movie starring alongside her mom.

Georgia and Rebecca, 55, will be starring in The Ocean Between Them as part of the network’s “Strength of a Lifetime” slate.

In the movie, Rebecca stars as Joan, a mother whose daughter, Miranda (played by Jessica Lord), disappears at sea during a family vacation in Belize. Georgia will be playing Ashley, Joan’s youngest daughter.

Here’s the official synopsis:

After a heated argument sends Miranda out kayaking alone, an unexpected storm leaves her stranded at sea. As Miranda battles the elements to stay alive, Joan refuses to give up, launching a relentless search that tests her resolve and pushes her beyond her limits. Facing unimaginable odds, both women discover extraordinary strength and the unbreakable bond that connects them — even across the vast ocean.

The new movie is inspired by real events.

Also starring in The Ocean Between Them is Karl Walcott as Luke, a local bartender who helps Joan in her search for Miranda.

Along with Georgia, Rebecca and Eric are also parents to 16-year-old daughter Billie.

Directed by Gabriel Correa, The Ocean Between Them will premiere on Lifetime on Saturday, September 26 at 8/7c.
