Dior Executive Mathilde Favier & Producer Nicolas Altmayer Killed in Car Accident in France

Dior executive Mathilde Favier and French producer Nicolas Altmayer have tragically passed away in a car accident.
The 61-year-old producer, responsible for the OSS 117 series, and his partner, the 57-year-old Dior public relations executive, were involved in the car crash on Monday (August 17) in western France.
Their car “hit a heavy goods vehicle traveling in the opposite direction while they were overtaking another vehicle,” via Variety. There’s reports that an involuntary manslaughter investigation will be conducted.

They were apparently en route to Île de Ré, where Mathilde owned a home.
Dior confirmed the tragedy with a statement on Instagram, writing, “Dior is deeply saddened to announce the accidental death of Mathilde Favier. In her role as Director of Public Relations, Mathilde Favier made an incredible contribution to the reputation of Christian Dior Couture through her commitment and elegance. She was an exceptional woman whose communicative joy, talent and loyalty were exemplary.”

She is survived by her children, Carlo Agostinelli and Heloise Agostinelli. Their father is her ex, Robert Agostinelli.
Carlo previously dated tennis star Emma Raducanu, who mourned Mathilde in a post to her Instagram Story with a white heart emoji and the dove emoji.
Our thoughts are with their families, friends, and loved ones during this time. RIP.
