Amy Sedaris Joins Ben Stiller & Benicio del Toro in ‘Protective Custody’ Comedy Series at Apple TV

Amy Sedaris is heading to Apple TV!
On Thursday (August 13), Variety announced that the 65-year-old Emmy-nominated actress has joined the cast of the streaming service’s upcoming comedy series Protective Custody.
She joins previously announced stars Ben Stiller and Benicio del Toro.
Protective Custody will follow “a disgraced financier (Stiller) accused of massive fraud who is thrown into protective custody, where he must navigate prison politics, salvage his reputation, and confront the consequences of his actions while awaiting trial.”
Mike Judge is co-writing the series along with Steve Hely and Dave King. All three are serving as executive producers and co-showrunners with Judge also attached to direct. Along with starring in the series, Ben will also be executive producing through his Red Hour banner.
Amy just recently wrapped production on A24’s upcoming movie Peaked, which she stars in alongside Molly Gordon, Connor Storrie, Dua Lipa, Laura Dern, Emma Mackey, and many more. Find out more about the movie here!
