Jacob Elordi in Talks to Join Ari Aster’s New A24 Thriller Movie ‘Scapegoat’ Starring Scarlett Johansson

Jacob Elordi is circling a new movie role!

On Monday (August 10), Deadline reported that the 29-year-old Oscar-nominated actor is in talks to star in Ari Aster‘s new A24 thriller movie Scapegoat. If he does get cast, Jacob will be starring opposite previously announced lead Scarlett Johansson.

As of right now, plot details are being kept under wraps. Ari is directing the movie from a screenplay he also wrote.

If you don’t know, Ari has made a name for himself for his famed A24 collaborations, including Midsommar and Hereditary. Scarlett‘s casting in Scapegoat was first announced back in May.

Scarlett has been busy recently filming the new Exorcist film, and will also be starring in the new The Batman movie, which will shoot later this summer. Find out which other big stars have joined The Batman Part II.

Jacob will next be starring alongside Josh Brolin and Margaret Qualley in filmmaker Ridley Scott‘s new survival thriller flick The Dog Stars, which hits theaters on August 28. Watch the trailer here!
