Jessie Cave is dishing on her OnlyFans career.

If you didn’t know, the 39-year-old English actress, best known for playing Lavender Brown in the final three Harry Potter movies, first joined the subscriber platform in 2025 to make some extra money.

In a new interview with the U.K. outlet The Times, Jessie revealed how much she’s made from posting on the site.

“I’ve earned more, easily, than my entire acting career within one year,” Jessie shared. Her subscribers pay $6 a month to view her content, and she earns more for one-off “paid-for messages.” Jessie revealed that within one day, she made £15,000 (equivalent to around $20,236).

Jessie went on to admit that she didn’t expect to be on OnlyFans for that long.

“I thought I’d make five grand, be on it for a few months and it would buy me time to work out what we’re going to do,” she explained. “But it’s now been over a year and a half and it’s genuinely saved our lives.”

Jessie, who shares four children with longtime partner Alfie Brown, said that she was at “a point of complete desperation” when she decided to join OnlyFans after she was unable to land auditions. She also noted that “normal jobs” just wouldn’t be able to work out for her.

“I couldn’t go and, say, work in a supermarket because I can’t afford the childcare, and also I don’t want people shouting Harry Potter spells at me as I work at Tesco,” she said. “I could retrain but I can’t afford to do a degree. I had a breakdown and I thought, that’s it with acting, I give up. But also we have no money.”

Jessie shared that she posts “hair content,” which appeals to a particular fetish audience, emphasizing that she is always fully-clothed, though she does wear various theme costumes and sometimes dresses as her Harry Potter character for fans.

“My rule is the hair is the main character,” she explained. “That’s how I justify it. It’s literally about hair: the texture of hair. The fetish. It’s very, very niche.”

She also noted that the length of her hair is important, explaining, “It’s down to my vagina. I could trim it but the truth is, the weirder the better.”

As for what also drew her to joining OnlyFans, Jessie said, “For so long I’ve just been this quirky figure. After having four kids and feeling invisible for so long that was really appealing to me.”

Despite not posting any explicit content on OnlyFans, Jessie previously claimed that her account got her banned from participating in a Harry Potter fan convention.
