Jax Taylor is “in love” with Lori Krebs.

Weeks after they were first spotted getting cozy on vacation in Mexico, the 47-year-old Vanderpump Rules alum officially confirmed in a new interview with Page Six that he’s in a relationship with the 43-year-old publicist.

“I love [Lori] to death. You can’t help who you fall in love with. Everybody deserves to find happiness,” Jax said. “I’m in the happiest place I’ve ever been, and I couldn’t be happier right now. My mental health has been so amazing since I’ve been with her.”

He then added that he and Lori “love each other very, very much.”

“I’m with somebody who I love very much, and she’s good for me,” Jax gushed, noting that Lori is “the best thing that’s ever happened” to him.

Lori previously worked for Jax & ex Brittany Cartwright

Lori worked as the publicist for Jax and his estranged wife Brittany Cartwright for years, and Brittany, 37, has previously called Lori a “very, very good friend of mine.”

After the pictures of Jax and Lori on vacation in Mexico were published, Brittany fired Lori.

Jax & Lori first sparked dating rumors years ago

If you didn’t know, Jax and Brittany, who share 5-year-old son Cruz, separated in January 2024 after nearly five years of marriage. The following month, Jax raised some eyebrows when he posted a selfie hugging Lori while they were in her hometown of Montreal, Canada. However, at the time, Jax and Brittany laughed off any speculation that he was dating Lori.

Brittany breaks her silence

In a new interview with People, Brittany shared her reaction to Jax and Lori‘s relationship, and revealed how she learned that they were dating.

Brittany says about two hours before the Mexico photos came out on TMZ, she got a text from Lori, saying it was “going to be incredibly shocking and painful” for her.

“I understand that you will feel betrayed by this, especially because I was there during one of the hardest times of your life,” Lori wrote, which Brittany read to People. “I cared very much about you and Cruz then, and I still very much do. None of that care or support was ever insincere.”

Brittany says Lori told her that she’ll “never excuse the way Jax treated” her, but “over time,” her “relationship with him” had changed.

“Over the past several months, we became much closer,” Brittany says Lori wrote. “I know one of your first questions will be about the timeline.”

She then addressed past rumors that something happened between them, saying, “When you asked me about the rumors, I told you they weren’t true, and I will always stand by that.”

“I understand you may not believe what I’m saying to you, but I’m telling you truthfully that this only developed in the past few months,” Lori continued, per Brittany. “I wanted to tell you sooner, but I struggle a lot with how to handle this. It’s important that you know that professionally I have never discussed your work, your business, your personal life, or our private conversations with him, and I never will. I know this will forever change how you see me and I understand and accept that. I just feel you deserve to hear this directly from me.”

The Valley star says her “heart sank” when she read the messages.

“I wrote back to her like, ‘What do you mean your relationship changed?’” Brittany recalled. “Then I said something like, ‘Lori, this is so disgusting. This is horrible. You’re dead to me.’ She turned her phone off, and we have not spoken since.”
