Ellen Pompeo and Rebecca Gayheart are stepping out for dinner.
The two actresses chatted as they left Sushi Park after grabbing a bite to eat together on Wednesday night (August 5) in West Hollywood, Calif.
For their outing, Ellen, 56, wore an all black outfit while Rebecca, 54, opted for a sleeveless, white top paired with dragon and yellow leopard-print pants.
After dinner, the two shared a hugged goodbye as they picked up their cars from the valet.
Ellen starred alongside Rebecca‘s late husband Eric Dane on Grey’s Anatomy for six seasons before he left the show in 2012. Ellen and Eric stayed friendly in the years after his exit from the ABC medical drama.
In April 2025, Eric announced that he had been diagnosed with ALS and less than a year later, he died on February 19, 2026. He was 53-years-old.
Weeks before his passing, Eric had to drop out of an appearance of an ALS event due to his health. While she wasn’t there in-person, Ellen showed her support for Eric at the event in a video message where she recalled what she told him when she learned of his ALS diagnosis.
