Miranda Kerr is sharing new comments about her current relationship with ex-husband Orlando Bloom.

If you forgot, the 43-year-old Australian model and the 49-year-old Pirates of the Caribbean actor were married from 2010 to 2013 and share now-15-year-old son Flynn.

While appearing on the Tuesday (August 4) episode of Kristin Cavalleri‘s Let’s Be Honest podcast, Miranda said that she and Orlando have remained on great terms as they co-parent their son, and admitted that the actor is now “like a brother” to her.

When asked if they’ve always been “great co-parents,” Miranda said her relationship with Orlando has been like that “from day one.”

“It’s obviously not easy when you’re separating,” Miranda shared, “and there’s always a level of hurt even if you both know it’s for the right reasons. So there’s always a level of hurt both ways I would say in any separation.”

“The most important thing that I learnt is just to put the needs of the child first,” she added, insisting she’d always ask, “Is this in the best interest of Flynn?”

“And that was really our guidepost for any decision,” Miranda said.

“Through that, we’ve known each other for a long time, we’ve developed such a good friendship that he’s just part of the family,” the KORA Organics founder continued. “He’s like a brother, you know? So we have that.”

Miranda has since been married to Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel since 2017 and they share sons Hart, 8, Myles, 6, and Pierre, 2. Orlando is also dad to 5-year-old daughter Daisy, whom he shares with ex-fiancee Katy Perry.

In an interview from September 2025, Miranda talked about maintaining a friendship with Katy after she and Orlando ended their engagement.
