A$AP Rocky is speaking out about his years-long feud with Drake.

The 37-year-old rapper opened up about why Drake seemingly can’t move on from Rihanna, whom he dated off and on from 2009 to 2016, in a new interview.

While speaking on The Jason Lee Show, host Jason said, “You took his girl,” to which A$AP said, “I didn’t. I didn’t. He wasn’t… Look, you know, I’ll let you tell it if that’s what you want to say.”

Jason responded, “You know, it’s like football. If you fumble and the star player picks it up, you can’t really be be mad.”

The rapper replied, “You said it. You know what I’m saying? I think really and truly, it’s weird that we done, everybody moved on with their lives and motherf-ckers is still strung up on that. It’s just bugged out to me.”

He added that the internet and smear campaigns take off online. “We see right through that. That’s why I just be like, ‘Oh, I ain’t responding to that.’ That sh-t come and go.”

When Jason mentioned Drake‘s ICEMAN track, “Burning Bridges,” where he says, “Your baby mama ain’t even post your single, damn / Where she at? Yeah, where she at?” A$AP said, “That’s stupid.”

“This is the problem though. If she would have posted my album, everybody would have been like, ‘You only went number one ’cause your girl posted it.’ She’s not on my album. What single is she supposed to be posting?” he continued. “She posted my album, right? After it went number one.”

To note, while A$AP and Rihanna first met in 2012, they didn’t start dating until 2019, and have since had three children together.
