Reality TV's Sidney Starr Arrested on Child Molestation, Sodomy & More Charges Involving a Child | Just Jared - Celebrity News and Gossip

Television personality Sidney Starr, whose real name is Sidney Favors, is facing some disturbing and serious charges and allegations.

The 37-year-old Love & Hip Hop: New York and Wild ’N Out reality TV star was reportedly arrested on Sunday (August 2) at an Embassy Suites.

According to a Fox affiliate, she was charged with “sodomy, sexual battery against a child under 16 and aggravated child molestation.” TMZ is reporting that she is “accused of confessing to performing oral sex on a minor.”

TMZ is also noting that she is a transgender model who gained attention when she falsely said she had a sexual relationship with rapper Chingy. She later retracted this story and apologized.

“Because this case involves a juvenile, no additional information will be released from our agency,” the Hapeville Police Department shared the with Fox affiliate. The case is now apparently in the hands of the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office.
