American Idol is officially renewed!
The singing competition series is returning for its 25th season on ABC, with next-day streaming available on Disney+ and Hulu.
The milestone season’s search for new talent begins on August 25 with “Idol Across America,” a virtual audition tour giving aspiring singers nationwide and eligible performers worldwide the chance to audition for producers.
Which judges are returning for American Idol season 25?
Luke Bryan, Lionel Richie and Carrie Underwood were judges last season. Deadline is reporting: “this trio is expected to return for Season 25, although their deals are still being worked out.”
Ryan Seacrest has been hosting since season one.
ABC also confirmed the audition dates for “Idol Across America.”
