Nolan Wells' Autopsy Results Document Red Discoloration on Head, Remain 'Undetermined' Pending More Investigation - Just Jared - Celebrity News and Gossip

The Nolan Wells case has taken the attention of many Americans as a young man lost his life.

Nolan was an 18-year-old Mississippi college football player who disappeared while visiting Horn Island with a group of friends during a Fourth of July outing. His body was recovered two days later in the water near the island. While investigators have said there were no immediate signs of foul play, his family has raised questions about the circumstances surrounding his death and has been seeking additional answers through an independent investigation.

Well, an independent autopsy has just come back, and the results were revealed during a press conference with his family’s attorney, Benjamin Crump. The independent autopsy was performed by Dr. Roger Mitchell, a board certified pathologist.

One area of note. There was a “focal area of red discoloration in the soft tissue in the back of the head.” It measured 12 by 8 inches in length in the lower area of Nolan‘s skull.
