There’s a schedule switch-up happening tonight (Monday, July 20) and next week for American Ninja Warrior.
The hit NBC series will air one hour earlier than usual this week, as well as next week’s episode (Monday, July 27).
When Is American Ninja Warrior airing on July 20 and July 27?
American Ninja Warrior will be airing from 8-10 p.m. ET on NBC and next day on Peacock, rather than the usual 9-11 p.m. ET time slot.
Why Is American Ninja Warrior getting a time change?
The reason for the time change is because The Wall returns to NBC with new Season 6 episodes beginning July 20. The Wall will air at 10 p.m. ET on Monday (July 20) and next Monday (July 27) before shifting to Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET.
After July 27, American Ninja Warrior will return to its original time slot at 9 p.m. ET.

Season 18 of American Ninja Warrior is bringing together the country’s most elite athletes to conquer the world’s most challenging obstacle courses. Hosts Matt Iseman and Akbar Gbajabiamila, along with co-host Zuri Hall, are back to call the action in Las Vegas. New this season is an all new round to the competition featuring a supersized three lane racecourse called the Tripleheader, where ninjas will go head to head to head in high speed, side by side races. Continuing with the major changes from last season, the National Finals will follow an action-packed, all-racing format with the winner taking home the $250,000 grand prize.
