Britney Spears‘ sons are opening up about their big step into the fashion world.
Sean Preston Federline, 20, and Jayden James Federline, 19, recently made their runway debut at the Vetements men’s show for the Spring 2027 menswear collection, wearing looks designed by Guram Gvasalia.
The brothers, who have largely stayed out of the spotlight over the years, spoke to Vogue about why the timing felt right to say yes to the opportunity.
“We get offered an opportunity like that,” Sean said, “and Jayden and I were like, ‘Hell yeah—this is so sick.’”
Sean explained that Guram first reached out after seeing photos of them online and initially invited them to watch the show before deciding to have them walk.
“I’ve heard about the brand Vetements before, and I’ve worn their stuff, but I’ve never really been in a fashion environment before. That was really cool and exciting,” he said.
Jayden added that the whole experience felt surreal, telling Vogue, “It was pretty crazy—being there in person was mind-blowing. It was like, ‘What the heck? There’s no way he actually chose us.'”
The brothers also shared how Britney reacted to their runway debut.
“Oh my god, she was so nervous for us,” Jayden said. “She was just looking out for us and making sure that this was what we wanted to do. She wasn’t there with us, but she sent us flowers to our hotel as a good luck thing, and called and texted us so many times. It was good to have that and to carry that with us before we went out there.”
As for whether Britney gave them any performance tips, Jayden said their mom trusted them to handle the moment.
“I feel like she knew we had it. She was like, “Yeah, you guys are my sons. You’ve got this,” he shared.
Sean and Jayden are Britney‘s sons with ex-husband Kevin Federline.
Britney recently offered an explanation for her “rebellion” on Instagram.
