Lexi Minetree Rewears Reese Witherspoon's 2001 'Legally Blonde' Premiere Dress to Promote Prequel Series 'Elle' - Just Jared - Celebrity News and Gossip

Lexi Minetree is taking over the role of Elle Woods for the Legally Blonde prequel series Elle, and to kick off her press tour appearances, the young star paid homage to the movie’s original star Reese Witherspoon.

For the 25-year-old actress’ appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday (June 17), Lexi rewore the exact Marc Jacobs dress that Reese wore to attend the Legally Blonde premiere back in 2001.

Lexi revealed she watched Legally Blonde 150 times, and she is even able to do an impression of Jennifer Coolidge, who co-starred in the original film.

While on the show, she also noted that people have always told her she looks like Reese.

“Even when I was a brunette, random people would come to me and say, ‘You know who you look like? You look like Reese Witherspoon.’ I was like thank you very much. That is a huge compliment,” she said.
