Donald Trump Reacts to Loud Boos at Knicks Game, Claims He Heard ‘Mostly Cheers’

Donald Trump was booed when he stood for the National Anthem just before the New York Knicks took on the San Antonio Spurs during Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Monday night (June 8) in New York City.
The 79-year-old POTUS attended the event, causing street closures and watch party cancellations.
When he was shown on screen during the National Anthem, he was booed by the crowd inside Madison Square Garden.
However, the President did not seem to think he was booed despite there being video of the moment happening.

When asked about the crowd’s reaction to him, Trump said it was “mostly cheers”
“I thought it was very good. It was certainly amazing. I think mostly cheers. It was loud. And it was very enthusiastic,” he said.
