Wanda Sykes is returning to Netflix!

On Monday (March 30), the streaming service announced that the 62-year-old comedian and actress’ new comedy special, titled Legacy, will be released in May.

The upcoming special, directed by Julie Dash, was filmed at Hampton University, the historically black university in Virginia where Wanda graduated from in 1986.

Legacy marks the third comedy special Wanda has released on Netflix. Her first special on the streamer was titled Not Normal and was released in 2019. Her second special, I’m an Entertainer, was released in 2023.

She also previously released comedy specials on Epix, HBO, and Comedy Central.
