Vanessa Hudgens is sharing some insight into her postpartum recovery.

On Monday (March 30), the 37-year-old actress and singer shared a photo on her Instagram Story that showed her holding several strands of hair in her palm with the caption, “And so it begins,” via People.

Vanessa welcomed her second child, a daughter, with her husband Cole Tucker in November 2025.

She also shared a selfie and wrote, “Having a great hair day even with my hair loss lol.”

It’s common to experience hair loss postpartum due to hormonal changes.

Vanessa shared an Instagram post back in November to announce the birth of her daughter, posting a photo of herself in the hospital bed holding Cole‘s hand with the caption, “Well…. I did it. Had another baby!!! What a wild ride labor is. Big shout out to all the moms. It’s truly incredible what our bodies can do ❤️”

The couple have not shared many details publicly about their kids, but in February, Cole revealed that they had one boy and one girl on a podcast.

“[We have] one of each,” Cole said. “I got [kids who are] 7 weeks and a year-and-a-half right now. I’m in the fight.”

She and Cole welcomed their son in July 2024.
