Tyriq Withers has nothing but nice things to say about former co-star Madelyn Cline.

The 27-year-old Reminders of Him star previously co-starred with the 28-year-old actress on the short-lived I Know What You Did Last Summer TV series on Prime Video.

During a recent interview on Therapuss, Tyriq shared working on the show wouldn’t have been as great without Madelyn.

“Bro. If it wasn’t for Maddie Cline, that shoot would have been… It would have been hell to get through. Just because you’re distance from home. You’re in Australia, Sydney, you’re in southern hemisphere. Anything bad happen? Blame it on the southern hemisphere,” Tyriq told host Jake Shane.

“[She's] hard working and, you know, down to clown. And I think you kind of need that. I’m not the type of actor that, needs to like, ‘Leave me alone no, I need to stay focused.’ I just, I do my job, I show up,” he continued.

Tyriq then shared a story of an attempted theft while hanging out off screen.

“Like the in betweens, I like to enjoy myself,” he said. “We played a lot of pool. There’s this one video, CCTV footage. It was me and Maddie, hanging out at a bar. And then we went outside on the patio, but we were playing pool, and she left her purse on this chair. And then there’s this guy that walks over to her purse and tries to steal her purse. And I come running out of the back patio chasing him through the bar downstairs, outside. And I chased him for a mile. And he was on the rugby team and we have CCTV.”

He noted that the purse wasn’t stolen but it “looked like he was taking photos of the purse.”
