Tiger Woods is pleading not guilty to misdemeanor charges.
According to court documents filed in Martin County on Tuesday (March 31), the professional golfer is entering a not guilty plea amid his DUI arrest following a rollover car crash in Jupiter, Fla. last week.
The documents, per CNN, say Woods‘ attorney Douglas Duncan has filed a waiver of arraignment and they are demanding a jury trial.
The waiver filing means Woods, 50, will not have to appear in court for the initial hearing.

He is being charged with driving under the influence with property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test. The documents say his license has been suspended.
Woods failed a field sobriety test following the crash in his Land Rover on Friday (March 27). The arrest affidavit released on Tuesday said he was not in any condition to be driving at the time.
A Martin County sheriff’s deputy described him as having bloodshot eyes with “extremely dilated pupils.”
The affidavit described the crash as following Woods‘ maneuvering his SUV across double solid lines and trying to go around another vehicle with an attached trailer, but he struck the trailer and caused his car to flip on the driver’s side.
Because his side was pinned, the other driver then reportedly had to help him out of his overturned Land Rover.
The affidavit also states police found two hydrocodone pills in his pants pocket, which is an opioid commonly used to treat severe and chronic pain.
Woods told deputies that he’d had over 20 operations on his leg and multiple back surgeries, which is why he was physically unable to perform some of the sobriety tests, though he did do a limited amount while seated on the patrol vehicle’s bumper. He reportedly made multiple errors.
According to the affidavit, the deputy on scene concluded that his “normal faculties were impaired, and he was unable to safely operate the motor vehicle.”
The latest rumor circulating about why the golfer won’t hire a driver.
