The trailer for Milly Alcock‘s Supergirl is here!

Here’s the logline: When an unexpected and ruthless adversary strikes too close to home, Kara Zor-El, aka Supergirl, reluctantly joins forces with an unlikely companion on an epic, interstellar journey of vengeance and justice.

Also starring in the film are Matthias Schoenaerts, Eve Ridley, David Krumholtz, Emily Beecham, and Jason Momoa.

Jason is not playing Aquaman in the film, but rather, the character Lobo.

“Aren’t you that ditz from that dive bar,” he asked Supergirl in the trailer.

She responded, “Funny, that’s what I’ve been calling you.”

Superman actor David Corenswet also makes an appearance in the trailer. And, of course, Krypto the dog is back. By the way, there is a Superman sequel in the works as well if you can’t get enough of the DC Universe!
