“I’m actually really worried about Amanda, if I’m being honest,” he told comedian and street journalist Adam Glyn on a video posted Wednesday (April 1) while out walking their dogs. “I talked to her before they put the statement out, she gave me a heads up. And I talked to her last night. I understand people have all sorts of opinions, and I’m not justifying any behavior. But from what I’m seeing, she’s kind of getting cyber-bullied and at the end of the day, all I know is, West seems to be the kind of guy playing multiple women at the same time.”

“I just looked and somehow in all of this, 50,000 people have decided that West deserves their follow. And meanwhile, they’re just lighting up Amanda. I just feel bad,” Kyle continued. “Amanda knows that what she did was wrong, and she’s trying to come to terms with it. But, she is not well.”

Kyle added that he just learned about Amanda and West over the weekend, and said he tried to give everyone the benefit of the doubt amid rumors beforehand.

“I don’t understand the timeline just yet. It definitely makes me second guess a lot of things last summer, at a minimum, just how checked out she was,” he said. “And my own unsuccessful ways I was trying to put effort in. It’s a mental mind f-ck for me, just because there’s just still so much that we’re watching from the summer. I just a little bit at a loss for words.”

He was then asked if West reached out to him, and Kyle said he sent a “half-assed text message.”

“I guess what I’m trying to say is, most of our audience, most of our followers, is women. Amanda deals with mental health issues. Before cyberbullying her and giving West a follow, maybe think twice,” he said. “We’re still trying to figure all this out. I’m still trying to figure out the details, but I can imagine West is using the same charm he’s used on just about every other chick.”

Kyle added that how he learned about is after the evidence “just kept piling up,” and looking back, he thinks last summer West had body language, like touching and being flirty, that exhibited to signs of something maybe starting.

“Candidly, his Watch Happens [appearance] and his confessionals in last week’s episode, I could not believe that he went there,” Kyle said.

The reality star/DJ notes that he’s frustrated about the situation, notes there’s so much more to be unpacked on the upcoming Summer House spinoff In the City, and says he’s disappointed in Amanda.

He also says that hearing how unwell she is, “having dark thoughts,” and he asks that people “let off the gas a little bit with the cyberbullying and hate.”

Earlier this year, Kyle and Amanda confirmed months-long rumors that they had split up after four years of marriage.
