Soccer Player Jorginho Frello Absolves Chappell Roan of Any Wrongdoing in Lollapalooza Hotel Incident, Reveals She Reached Out Privately (New Statement) | Ada Law, Chappell Roan, Jorginho Frello | Celebrity News and Gossip | Entertainment, Photos and Videos

Soccer player Jorginho Frello has released another statement about the Lollapalooza incident that ended up involving Chappell Roan.

If you did not see the news, the 34-year-old Brazilian soccer star accused the 28-year-old “Pink Pony Club” singer of being behind an alleged encounter that left his 11-year-old daughter Ada upset.

However, Chappell denied any knowledge of this, and the security guard at the center of the scandal revealed he was not working for Chappell at the time this went down.

Jorginho has now released another statement, which we’ve translated from Portuguese to English.

Here’s his statement, in full, translated to English:

I want to update you all on what happened during the Lolla weekend. Over the past few
weeks, a lot has been said, and now that new information has come to light, I felt it was
important to set the record straight.

I issued my initial statement in the heat of the moment, after learning that my daughter
and my wife had been approached in an intimidating manner by a security guard. I reacted
the way any father would. My priority is, and always will be, protecting my family—and
that is exactly what I did.

I also want to make it clear that the situation unfolded exactly as it was originally described.

At the time, we acted based on the information we had available to us in that moment.
Since then, I have become aware of new information that has shifted my understanding of
certain aspects of the incident. Chappell Roan has spoken out publicly, reached out privately to Catherine, and our respective teams have also spoken directly with one another.

It became clear that she had no knowledge of what took place at breakfast and that she
had not asked anyone to approach them. She demonstrated understanding and
solidarity regarding what happened to our daughter.

The security guard himself has publicly confirmed that he was representing a different artist at the hotel at that time. Although we still do not know what motivated him to approach them—and while we do not believe that an 11-year-old child eating breakfast could ever be perceived as any kind of security threat—it has become clear that he was not acting on Chappell’s behalf.

Ultimately, it was a misunderstanding in this regard, and I am happy to set the record straight. It is important to me that this matter be clarified in a fair and accurate manner. I regret the impact this situation has had on Chappell Roan, Catherine, Ada, and our family.

What I will always stand up for is my family. However, I also know how to acknowledge
when things were not exactly as they appeared at first glance.

Thank you for the solidarity we have received during this sensitive time. I do, however,
want to make one thing very clear: I do not condone hate speech or online attacks
from any side. Respect, empathy, and humility are values that I uphold and that I teach my family every day.

I consider this matter closed as far as I am concerned.
