The cause of Sidney “Omen” Brown‘s death has been revealed.
The producer, known for collaborations with superstars like Drake and Beyoncé, sadly passed away at the age of 49 last year.

Omen passed away due to atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD), and the manner of death was determined as natural, per TMZ.
The condition is caused by plaque buildup in arterial walls, and ASCVD-related conditions remain the leading cause of morbidity and mortality globally, per Heart.org.
After staff at his place of work alerted his family when he didn’t show up, Omen was found by a relative inside his apartment on September 13 in Harlem, New York City.
In 2006, he produced “Tell It Like It Is” for Ludacris, featured on Release Therapy, which won the 2007 Grammy Award for Best Rap Album.
He also has production credits on “What Happened 2 U” by Usher from Looking 4 Myself, “Mine” by Beyoncé from Beyoncé, as well as “Actin’ Crazy” by Action Bronson. He also worked with Redman, Hurricane G, Lil Wayne, The-Dream, and Gym Class Heroes, among many other acts prior to his passing. RIP.
