Scream 8 is officially in the works, and the writing team has been revealed!
Lilla and Nora Zuckerman have been announced as the writers for the upcoming Scream project at Spyglass.

The two just served as showrunners for Poker Face, and wrote on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Suits, Fringe and Prodigal Son, per Deadline.
Notably, the duo were just busy writing for the now-scrapped Buffy reboot, Buffy the Vampire Slayer: New Sunnydale, alongside Sarah Michelle Gellar, who is also a Scream series alum.
Scream 7 has brought in over $200 million at the global box office, notching a new record in the horror film’s history.
The movie featured the return of Neve Campbell as Sidney, as well as Isabel May, Courteney Cox, Anna Camp, Joel McHale and Matthew Lillard.
The original Scream debuted in 1996, directed by Wes Craven and set in the small fictional town of Woodsboro, Calif. A masked killer known as Ghostface begins murdering high school students, and a group of friends must use their knowledge of horror movies to unmask the killer.
