Kimberly said that she wants this comeback to be about “unity.”

“I think there’s such power in there…empowering women empower women. And I think that throughout our experiences, it’s been a whirlwind and a lot of rupturing. And to be here and be able to stand for each other and repair and build on a really solid platform is really exciting,” she said.

“And I think by protecting our peace and being open and communicating, I think that’s sort of the womanhood that we’re all bringing to this new venture. And to be able to bring that, like you were saying, bring that power and own that power is everything I’ve ever wanted and dreamed for with the Pussycat Dolls.”

“It’s always meant so much to me. And you talk about drag. There’s something about being a Pussycat Doll that’s like being a drag queen, you know? And the power you feel in that and feeling like you can kind of escape from the world and just live in this fairytale of beauty and rainbows is special and we get to do that. But as you were saying, to be that in a much different space and to kind of set the intention as us and have that lease to do that, I think that’s what makes us feel even more powerful this time,” she concluded.

Ashley added: “We’re women now, you know, like we were speaking about that. I look back at some of the pictures and stuff, I’m like, ‘Oh, yeah, that’s me. I see myself.’ But I didn’t feel as connected to my body, who I am, and like you, I think we’re going to be able to go out there more present, more connected together and as the women we are today.”

“And be able to hopefully inspire others that it doesn’t matter age, whatever, where we’re coming from, but together we can come and celebrate life and celebrate each other and lift each other up and we need that right now,” she added.

Nicole also spoke about why the reunion is happening now.

“Well, I mean, we’re celebrating 20 years of our music since we’ve released PCD, our album, and ‘Don’t Cha’ came out and ‘Stickwitu’ and all those songs. So, the timing is right for all of us together where we are in our lives right now. So, it’s perfect. Divine timing,” she said.

“I like to say PCD isn’t a phase. It’s forever. Yeah. And I think the Pussycat Dolls, where it came from and what it was, why it was created, was for people to have empowering expression and have an empowering platform. And so I think it’s, you know, even now more important and relevant than ever for a PCD to come out. It’s about courage and bravery and inclusivity and fun.”

Ashley added: “And we always say ‘inner baddie.’”

“Yeah. Your inner baddie. That’s our jobs. We’re like little superhero dolls there to like reconnect people to their inner baddie,” Nicole went on to say. Watch above.
