Walker Scobell is speaking out about his high school prom.

The 17-year-old Percy Jackson and the Olympians star took to his Instagram story on Sunday (April 12) to address fan messages to teenage girls that could even remotely be in his vicinity.

“Just to let everyone know, I will not be attending prom,” he wrote. “Please stop sending death threats to EVERY teenage girl who could remotely be associated with me based on their proximity to where I live.”

“It’s not fair to them or to their families,” Walker continued. “Maybe also just stop sending death threats in general. That’s just not cool. Kinda weird I have to say this.”

The young actor recently wrapped filming on the upcoming third season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians, and it’s set to debut on Disney+ later this year. Along with Walker, several other stars are confirmed to be reprising their roles, with quite a few actors also joining the cast. Get the scoop here!
