Joey Lawrence is now a dad of four!

On Thursday (April 9), the 49-year-old Blossom actor announced that he and wife Samantha Cope have welcomed their second child together, a baby boy, earlier in the week on April 6.

“Our newest member has arrived. What an absolute blessing you are baby boy! It will be an Easter Weekend to remember forever. 4.6.26,” the couple wrote in a joint post on Instagram. “God is so good!”

Joey and Samantha included photos holding their newborn son along with a photo from after what appeared to be a water birth.

Baby Ford joins the couple’s 2-year-old daughter Dylan. Joey also shares daughters Liberty, 15, and Charleston, 19, with ex-wife Chandie Yawn-Nelson.

Joey and Samantha met while filming Lifetime’s My Husband’s Secret Brother in 2021 and married in May 2022. After two years of marriage, Samantha filed for divorce in August 2024, but they reconciled five months later.

In an interview from last year, Joey opened up about their reconciliation.

“As much you don’t want to take an easy way out, or you think this will be the fix—it’s not always the case. I just didn’t want to do that,” Joey told E! News at the time. “And she didn’t either. It’s like, ‘Wait a minute. There’s something so special here.’”

“Things take a lot of work and a lot of dedication and reworking and retooling,” Joey continued. “That’s life, though. As brothers, with your parents, with friends, in business, that’s it. Everything takes so much work. Whatever it is, just don’t give up, because you never know.”
