Hallmark Channel stars Erin Krakow and Ben Rosenbaum are about to become first-time parents and they said the sweetest things about expecting a baby together.

The married couple stepped out earlier this month to promote the season finale of their series When Calls the Heart, which just wrapped its 13th season.

Erin and Ben participated in a panel at the When Calls the Heart & Hope Valley: 1874 celebration on March 18 at the Sun Rose Hotel in West Hollywood, Calif.

“It’s so many things. It’s been really very special,” Erin said on the panel, hosted by Entertainment Tonight. She added, “But, I think the main thing is just building a family with my husband.”

She added, “It’s been an incredible journey. I have to give it up to Hallmark and our production team. They’ve been so supportive. [Executive producer] Brad Krevoy, he’s been saying, ‘Ya gotta have babies’ for years and years and years. ‘It’s the best thing you’ll ever do. We’ll work around it.’ And here we are! It’s been very exciting.”

Ben chimed in, “It’s incredibly exciting… I honestly, I just feel maybe that, you know, maybe I’ll live to regret saying this, but I feel pretty confident.”
