Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D. are undergoing a schedule shift this evening (April 1), and we have the details you might want to know if you’re waiting to watch!

Fans of Chicago Fire might turn on NBC at 9pm ET and realize that Donald Trump will be giving a speech instead. Don’t worry: the hit series will be airing a new episode tonight, but it will be starting at a later time.

Estimates suggest that the POTUS will be speaking to the American people from 9pm ET until about 9:20 pm ET. Chicago Fire will start immediately after he is done talking. It’s unclear if he will run over this time or possibly take less time, but you can rest assured that there will be a new episode of Chicago Fire airing this evening.

In addition, Chicago P.D. will also be airing a new episode, and it will follow the conclusion of Chicago Fire on NBC.
