AnnaLynne McCord is engaged!

The 38-year-old 90210 alum accepted a proposal from former rugby player Danny Cipriani, 38, at her Los Angeles home on Christmas Day!

“I cried for 10 minutes straight,” AnnaLynne told People. “At some point, I realized I had to answer. I said, ‘Yes, but I can’t even speak,’ and he replied, ‘That’s okay, it’s actually a good sign that you are quiet for once.’ Then, we’re all laughing.”

The couple had separately been thinking about marriage for a while, as each of them bought the other a promise ring over Thanksgiving. At one point, AnnaLynne was even going to pop the question herself, but thought differently after consulting her sisters.

Danny ended up proposing ahead of a trip they had planned to Cambodia. One night, she was getting ready when her sisters told her to get “dolled up.”

“I said, ‘No, I’m not getting dolled up just to go to a movie,’ but my sisters insisted,” AnnaLynne shared. “Suddenly, they are rushing me and announcing they are leaving. I come downstairs and there are rose petals everywhere and a rose petal heart. Danny, down on one knee with a ring, waiting for me to step into the heart.”

“When I look at Danny, he’s home to me,” the Excision star told the outlet. “I think he is a home that I never knew I needed and that I didn’t feel I deserved. The Cancer, sappy side of me is like, ‘Oh my God, I get to love him!’”

She compares it to the song “I Get to Love You” by Ruelle, which she plans to walk down the aisle to.

Danny told People that he “loves” the Type A aspect of AnnaLynne‘s personality.

“She’s my crazy girl!” he gushed.
