‘American Idol’ 2026: Top 14 Contestants Revealed, 6 Singers Eliminated at Beginning of First Live Show | ABC, American Idol, EG, Extended, Slideshow, Television | Celebrity News and Gossip | Entertainment, Photos and Videos

The first live show of American Idol‘s 24th season began with a massive elimination.

The Top 20 contestants performed over the past two weeks in pre-taped episodes that were filmed at Disney’s Aulani Resort in Hawaii. Fans across America voted for their favorites and the contestants with the most votes advanced to the next round.

At the top of the night, the Top 14 contestants were revealed and 6 singers were eliminated from the competition.

Unfortunately for the eliminated contestants, they all had to prepare songs for this week in case they made it through, but they won’t get to perform for America.

The Top 14 will have a very impromptu night as they don’t know the order in which they’re performing. Keyla was surprised with the news that she was performing first. And she slayed!
