Alex Duong Dead: Comedian Passes Away at 42 Following Cancer Battle | Alex Duong, RIP | Celebrity News and Gossip | Entertainment, Photos and Videos

Alex Duong has sadly passed away.

Hilarie Steele, who is a very close friend of the comedian and his family, told TMZ that Alex went into septic shock on Friday night (March 27) and died at 11am Saturday at St. John’s Hospital in Santa Monica, California, surrounded by family and friends. Alex was 42-years-old.

Keep reading to find out more…Last year, Alex was diagnosed with alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare and aggressive cancer, after experiencing headaches behind his eye. After a biopsy was performed, the tumor was labeled as extremely aggressive, and Alex ended up having to undergo several rounds of treatment and wear an eye patch.

Hilarie recently set up a GoFundMe page to help cover Alex‘s medical expenses. The fundraiser is still open for donations after Alex‘s death to help his wife Cristina and their 5-year-old daughter Everest.
