Cameron Diaz is spending a late night on set.

The 53-year-old actress and co-star Sherry Cola shared a laugh as they filmed scenes for an upcoming rom-com at Washington Square Park on Thursday night (April 9) in New York City.

For their time on set, Cameron wore a black leather trench coat while Sherry, 36, wore a red and pink coat.

Keep reading to find out more…The upcoming movie follows “a workaholic Brit (Stephen Merchant) employed at an upscale New York hotel who needs a wife for appearances. He strikes a deal with a struggling stand-up comic (Diaz) who is desperate for health insurance. Their fake marriage starts as a transaction but ends in an unexpected romance,” according to Deadline.

Along with starring in the movie, Stephen is also directing off a script he co-wrote with John Butler.

The cast also includes Rob Lowe, Jake Lacy, Josh Segarra, Judith Light, Myra Lucretia Taylor, Fabrizio Guido, Lisa Gilroy, Dustin Ybarra, Heidi Gardner, Alex Moffat, and Frankie Faison.
