His comedy special, Ridiculous, will also premiere on Netflix this summer, marking the first time he’s worked with the streamer since 2017, via THR.
Back in 2017, five women accused the comedian of sexual misconduct, to which he later admitted to the behavior.
The report, which came amid the #MeToo movement, caused him to lose his deal with FX amid the success of his show Louie, his voice was either replaced or removed from projects such as The Secret Life of Pets 2, and the movie he wrote and directed I Love You, Daddy was dropped by its distributor amid the fallout.
He still went on to tour throughout the ordeal and filmed comedy specials like Sincerely Louis CK, Sorry, Louis C.K. at The Dolby and Back to the Garden, along with releasing a book Ingram. He also won an award at the 2022 Grammy Awards, sparking backlash.
He since appeared on Theo Von‘s podcast in 2025, and said he attends Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous meetings, and has since embarked on the Ridiculous Tour.
Other comedians set to appear at Netflix’s festival, running from May 4 to May 10, include Shane Gillis, John Mulaney and Marcello Hernández.
Louis was photographed kissing Mimi O’Donnell, who was the late Philip Seymour Hoffman‘s longtime partner, back in November.
