Travis Kelce Opens Up About Birthday Dinner with Wife Taylor Swift & What Could Have Ruined His Celebrations | Just Jared

Travis Kelce is speaking out about his birthday celebrations this week!

The Kansas City Chiefs football star turned 37 years old on Monday (October 5), and was photographed going out to dinner with his wife, Taylor Swift, in New York City that day.

During the latest episode of his New Heights podcast with his brother, Jason Kelce, which debuted on Wednesday (October 7), Travis dished on celebrating his birthday.

When asked how it feels to turn 37, Travis teased his birthday in the city with Taylor.

“It feels nice, because I had a lot of people reach out and say ‘Happy Birthday,’ and yeah, it was a good day,” he said. “It was a fun day. Got some food out here in New York and went to one of my favorite spots, Torrisi. Got to hang with Tay.”

He also shared that the restaurant has “some good desserts,” and while he didn’t have a cake, “they brought the entire arsenal” of dessert options.

“They got some good yogurt. They got a good espresso, like shaved espresso icing with ice cream and chocolate underneath. It was weird. It was nice though,” he dished.

When pressed for further details about his birthday with Taylor, including maybe a gift, Travis said, “No, I would love to just keep it moving,” followed by a laugh.

However, he also revealed what the best news of his birthday was.

“The best news that I got on my birthday was that [the Chiefs] got a victory,” Travis noted. “That was the happiness I had around my birthday, was that I got the win going into the bye, and we’re 4-0.”

The day before his birthday, Travis and the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Las Vegas Raiders 30-27. They then have a “bye” week, which means they don’t play this upcoming weekend.

Their next game is a home game against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, October 18th.
