Lauren Graham & Melissa McCarthy Have ‘Gilmore Girls’ Reunion at Variety’s Power of Women 2026!

Lorelai and Sookie are back together!

Lauren Graham and Melissa McCarthy had a Gilmore Girls reunion on the red carpet Variety’s 2026 Power of Women event on Wednesday (September 23) held at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Lauren and Melissa starred together on the hit series, which ran for seven seasons from 2000 to 2007. They then reprised their roles for Netflix’s 2016 reboot mini-series, Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life.

During the event, Lauren will be honoring Melissa.

“Variety Power of Women is one of our most meaningful celebrations, honoring the extraordinary women who are using their voices, creativity and influence to create meaningful change,” Variety Co-President and Publisher Dea Lawrence shared in a statement. “We are proud to recognize this remarkable group of women and to continue our valued partnership with Lifetime in elevating their stories and amplifying their impact. Other stars at the event included Queen Latifah, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jennifer Hudson, Sharon Stone, Jenna Dewan, and Paige DeSorbo.
